Click on usercp (http://www.eukhost.com/forums/usercp.php) on top, under Settings & Options on the left pane, find the Edit Avatar (http://www.eukhost.com/forums/profile.php?do=editavatar) option. Or let me know which avatar would you'd like to have set :)
There's no need to pull up a new windows or remember the smily codes, for the complete list of 90 smilies & their code, CLICK HERE (http://www.eukhost.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&editorid=vB_Editor_001)...

I want to upload a related flash (.swf) file about it! Let's see if I am able to ...
...
...
Sorry, I'm getting "Invalid filename" message.
@ Dear Moderator, How can I upload a self made small video file (in swf format, size less than 2 MB), or a YouTube informational video to the forum?
Thanks!
:)

Hi!
Try this link and see if you can activate / edit your Avatar from here:
http://www.eukhost.com/forums/profile.php?do=editavatar
Also, Go to "Edit options" in the UserCp,
Click on (activate) "Show Avatars" under the "Thread Display Options"
Save Changes

Dear Moderator, please delete my earlier post. The comment code has somehow spoilt the post...
------
BTW, Are you using Apple and Safari 3 browser?
Or,
Check your "Page Source" (Ctrl+U) of the usercp,
and look for the following code...
... the code cannot be shown here...
but look/search for the "profile.php?do=editavatar"...
This particular line of code is different... in green color, AND also in Italics... while the rest of the lines are in standard colors and Normal (not italics)...
The green color is because the line is commented out with < ! - - (please remove the spaces)
But even with the line being commented out, I am still able to work it...
and you're not...
If the code is commented, then it should not work as a link..
Wonder why!
Can someone please look into the Source Code of UserCp please...
Sorry about the above post... it got corrupted because I used the comment code as is... I am reposting my thoughts here...
Dear Moderator, please delete the above post written by me.

If the code is commented, then it should not work as a link FOR ME. It is not seen by you, and that's CORRECT, because that line is just a comment..
Wonder why it is working for me and, may be, for many others?! Possibly a bug :D
Can someone please look into the Source Code of UserCp please...
I checked in Internet Explorer. You cannot see the code colors in its Source Code page. It's all in black...
You can see the color codes in Firefox though...
Both in IE and Firefox, the particular code line (as mentioned above) is commented... but obviously the comment command is not working in IE and FF... I am able to work that line as a clickable menuitem.
But obviously you're unable to see it as should the case be... because the line is a comment...
Which browser are you using please?

I use lots but i'm using IE7 at the mo :)
And I'm using IE 6.0.2900...
If someone has both the versions, somehow, i.e., IE 6 and 7, this can be checked... IE7 is probable catching the commented line as a comment, while IE6 and FF 3.0.1 isn't...
Or, because the commented line doesn't have a space between the comment code and the following <.tr.> (note: please remove the dots here) code, it's acting funny for us...
Please try FF and see if the menuitem is visible for you there... also try and clear the cache...

Avatar options are not in FF either.
Then maybe you're using Vista... maybe 32bit/64 bit edition... maybe... ...
I checked using Google and vBulletin forum to find a solution. Although vBulletin (all versions) have their own little/big problems, the Avatar -related problem was not found. Maybe, no one had placed a comment code in such pecular fashion. Of course, such errors can happen and then are trapped when debugging...
Possibly, the coder did not go through that section with a fine-toothed comb, or possibly, the wrong commented section was overlooked... Some coders are known to write all code fast and by-heart, and do not use specialized softwares... If written in Notepad (many coders still do write the HTML codes using just the notepad) and then checked with just IE, the error will skip the vision because IE produces code-related everything in black and white (as when viewing the Source Code). FF would show the different colors for code-lines and comment-lines, etc. Most of the specialized coding SWs and debuggers for HTML, etc will also show different color codes for different things...
Any such combination apart from the Win XP SP2 with FF 3.0.1 / IE-6 combination (this combination is used in my case, and the specific code did allowed me to view and execute the line inspite of the comment code) could cause the system to interpret the HTML comment code on that particular line differently and cause the "EditAvatar" option to stay hidden - CORRECTLY as in your case, because the code for that line is commented (also, pecularly, without a space between the comment code and the following HTML code for the EditAvatar) ...
--------------------------------------------------------
I am thinking that particular combination of the comment code (because the important space is also missing there) is the main culprit for your particular configuration, and perhaps, for others who are using such PC configuration --
--------------------------------------------------------
With this knowledge, the best that we can do now is to request our coders to just remove the comment code from the EditAvatar line in the Source Code. That should DEFINITELY solve the problem for everyone, whatever the configuration.
:)
Just to keep talking with you on this interesting topic to me because it gave me an opportunity to peep in my distant past (in the late 1980s until 1995)...
As my earlier SW programmer/Analyst job taught me (hammered into my skull is the right word :D) to debug everything always and change/remove the part of code that shouldn't be there... and take care of our comment-lines specifically. (Because the comment lines gives everybody down-the-line an opportunity to know what the code is suppose to do -- it acts as a sort of flowchart), and check/debug again if the problem persists -- (shouldn't arise the need for this in this case though). In this case, the particular comment got me thinking... because our training then taught us to look for every comments.

I run XP, I think its down to forum permissions.
I run XP, I think its down to forum permissions.
Absolutely, this has something to do with the "Keep Custom Avatar" option. I find this option enabled for your account.. :) Only Mark can be of further help..
This option allows the user to keep their custom avatar in the event that they lose permission to upload custom avatars. If the user is moved to an usergroup that doesn't allow custom avatars; the user's avatar will not be visible in posts, their profile, and the member's list unless this option is enabled. This option does not allow the user to change their avatar. Usergroup permission is required to accomplish that task. If the admin changes or gives an a user a custom avatar when the user doesn't have usergroup permission to have one, this option will be automatically enabled.
Can you log out of the forum completely, clear the browser cache & re-login back to the forums check if the avatar option is enabled ? If it still isn't, then I'm .... :bang:

Hehe, looks that way. I'm unsure whether the "Premium Member" user group is allowed avatars or not. If not, then the above text description that Rock posted would seem to suggest that while you are a member of this user group you are unable to modify the avatar yourself, even if the option is enabled on your account.
Still not much help I know, but it may well be an explanation :).
