View Full Version : US Elections
Who do you think will win?
I think McCain's had his chips (;)) in terms of any prospect of winning now, with only 4 weeks to go he is still behind in the poles and unless some career ending crap about Obama comes up, McCains out of it.
Obama will win for sure. He is babied by the media and can do no wrong so I voted that I think he will win. McCain is who I am rooting for though.
If the election was today, Obama. If it was a month ago, McCain. If it's in a months time, which it is, I have no idea...
I hate Politics and I wish to Withdraw my vote.
I don't like politics either, especially how it ends up in the US. :fire:
hehe
A month ago McCain wins because Russia rolled an army into Georgia. Today Obama wins because the economy is a mess.
It's too hard to predict. Anything can happen in a month.

Yep. The US election process is too biased. Can't blame the US, it happens in the UK too.

Obama - please dear God Obama!!!
Gore should have been in charge INSTEAD of Bush from when he first tried to get elected. And McCain = another Bush = not good. Just think, we might have not had the War in Iraq and the Subprime mortgage crisis without the Republicans!! lol

I think if Gore was in now we wouldn't be seeing half the environmental and economic problems we have now. He seems to make good use of hindsight.

Yep, same here. There may have still been economic problems in the US (& the rest of the world) but I doubt they would have been as bad as they are today. And environmentally wise the US couldn't be doing much worse and Gore is very pro-environment so I definitely think he would have done better than Bush! :)
One more reason to vote for Obama:

McCain is not George Bush
Al Gore is a lieing fool who preaches about Global warming but dosent act on what he preaches, which makes him the prefect Democrat.
People hardly evaluate a candidate these days, their votes are mostly based on a candidate's "charisma" and Obama has all this, atleast I can say he is a powerful person for public speaking.

Absolutely right Paul, but History says all about the impact such Leaders can make on Public. Those who can change mindset of people by their speech manage to rule them and their work leaves huge impact on history.
No matter how Intelligent you may be, but your skills can simply help you to motivate your associates. there's no other way to make an impact on whole country, unless you can deliver a speech which will leave your mark in the brains of your countrymen.
