The year 2007 saw eUKhost coming up with many new innovations. Some of the major innovations and accomplishments of the year which are worth mentioning are listed as follows:-
March 2007 - Windows VPS hosting launched
eUKhost launched Windows VPS Hosting service with Plesk Control panel and Virtuozzo virtualization platform which offers clients their own virtual Windows 2003 operating system to host unlimited domains and install their own software/applications with Administrator RDP access.
April 2007 - New Team of Windows System Administrators
eUKhost hired 4 highly experienced Windows System Administrators to move in direction of capturing Global Windows Hosting market. Martin, William, Alfred and Gabrielle joined in which increased the overall strength of Windows System Administrators to 8.
June 2007 - 5000 Client Base mark achieved
eUKhost Client base crossed the 5000 mark, a fantastic achievement in itself!
July 2007 - Business Hosting plan with 100% Uptime Guarantee launched
eUKhost launched a business hosting plan with 100% uptime guarantee by implementing a mirroring solution with FAM and RSYNC. Business Web Hosting is mainly for Corporate customers with important business websites as we want to help our customers grow their websites & their businesses.
July 2007 - Toshiba Laptop Contest
A new Toshiba Laptop Contest launched for all the customers and members of our forum. A brand new Toshiba Laptop worth £1000 to be awarded to the most helpful member of the forum as voted by the other members of the forum. Joshua Hold eventually won the contest as he received the maximum number of votes.
August 2007 - eUKQ6600 server added to the existing range of servers
eUKhost added a new server Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 to its existing range range of servers which re-defined server performance. First impressions of clients whose accounts are hosted on Q6600 servers were superlative!
September 2007 - eUKhost Video Testimonials
eUKhost launched a new Video Testimonials system which is the first of its kind in web hosting business. Existing customers can share their experience with eUKhost by uploading his/her video testimonial either from a file, direct recording from a webcam or DV camera or a mobile.
September 2007 - Nick G appointed as QA Manager
Nick G joined eUKhost Ltd. as QA Manager which strengthened the Management team. Nick has helped eUKhost to improve quality of the livechat and ticket support immensely.
October 2007 - Redployment Process for staff members
A redployment process was started by eUKhost management to improve the working abilities of the staff and thereby raising the standard of the support & service provided to our loyal clientele. The efforts put in by the management were fruitful as most of the newly recruited & existing junior staff came through in good colours.
October 2007 - New range of Semi Dedicated Servers unveiled
eUKhost unveiled a new range of Linux/Windows Semi-Dedicated Servers featuring Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 servers with 8 GB RAM. Only 4 accounts are set-up per server which ensures each semi dedicated server gets 2 GB of Dedicated RAM.
November 2007 - John appointed as Operations Manager
The strength of eUKhost management team was bolstered further with the appointment of John as Operations Manager.
