Bye Bye modernbill :)
eUKhost has decided to switch to WHMCS by the end of next week. Modernbill seems to have discontinued development since its takeover by Parallels and WHMCS looks quite promising.
We were developing our owned billing software, but features included by WHMCS look much better than what we managed to design. Our custom built billing system has many security issues so we have decided to switch to WHMCS in next few days.

Any future plans to offer WHMCS licenses with VPS and dedicated server plans then for free, like other hosts do?
Also, does this mean that support requests will now be handled through the WHMCS system?

Sounds good. WHMCS is a great billing system. It's made my life a lot easier since I changed to it and also the VAT stuff on it I think is easier to do than Modernbill.

Seems MB has been on a bit of a slippery slope for a while now...

We won't integrate our helpdesk with WHMCS as we don't want to keep load of Billing as well as Tickets on same server / database. Helpdesk will remain on separate server.
We need to work out other things with WHMCS Sales Team as we've not decided about anything else till now besides the fact that we wish to ditch modernbill. Parallels ( Swsoft ) is misusing funds that we pay every month for licenses of plesk and virtuozzo. I don't think there will be anyone left with Modernbill by the end of this year.

Oh, there is a good service status thing in built with the system. Not sure if you'd be interested but it could be useful!

We have planned to switch our billing system on coming Saturday / Sunday. We will need to configure many things manually which will take couple of hours. We have everything well planned now and our developers will ensure smooth migration to WHMCS.

VAT stuff is much easier in WHMCS compared to Modernbill. This one of the advantage with WHMCS.

Yeah, it's great on WHMCS. It's just simple links and it does everything! Domain checker and other things have just been updated too!
