Great! I guess this is a VPS on Virtuozzo.
Which SQL Server? Express Edition?
What is the connectivity detail? Upload/Download speed?
Network? Gignet? Backbone?
Are all servers, Database/Mail/Web on the same box?
Which Firewall? Hardware or software?
Is it anonymous?
Who owns the IP block?
Which mail server?
Wow! The word "Advanced" attracts me like a moth towards a flame. The other day I saw this beautiful lady wearing a T-Shirt with the word printed on it. Imagine what must've happened...Anayway back to the real world.
Hope to hear great answers as usual...

We give SQL 2005 Express Edition.
The VPS gets a 100Mbps connection speed.
The overall NOC (DC) is 2 x 10 GBPS connections with redundancy being available.
All the application servers viz mail, webserver, database.
FTP mode depends on your choice.
The two IP's given are for your usage. The subnet belongs to eUkHost.
Windows comes with MailEnable (Plesk) & Linux with Exim (CPanel).
PHP 4.4.7 as well or 5.x as per your requirement
ASP.NET 2.0 & 3.0
DNN would not be available with these accounts bby default but plesk powerpack can be installed for DotNetNuke.
Joomla can be used.
Additional IP's, & bandwidth can be purchased.
Additional disk-space would be subjective depending on the requirement.

Hello,
Any restrictions on the VPS? What/how many applications are installed under Plesk? Is there a demo available?
Here are a few suggestions:
a) You should now move to Gignet and offer 1000MBPs connectivity
b) Offer a SQL 2005 standard/enterprise hosted account (hosted on a different box) as an addon, but this scheme will work only if the machines are connectd via Gig Switch
c) As always, try to offer branding/anonymity, including IP whois (should show DC details, not eUKhost)
Too inquisitive, am I?

There are no restrictions as such. It has to be within permissible limits. There isnt a demo for the VPS at the moment. But this is something which I will take up with our guys.
As far as private label resellers go, that is something which we would like to look into . Again I wont be able to commit. But many thanks for the suggestion.

We are responsible for management of our network and we need our information in network whois for abuse contact. our subnets will be blacklisted by spamcop and spamhaus if we dont respond to abuse notifications.

Hello Nick,
It won't be possible to have a VPS demo technically in my humble opinion, due to resources. But at least have one Plesk AS IT IS AVAILABLE on the VPS (and others). That way VPS buyers, most of them would already be experienced i think, can find out the goodies. There is no use hiding good things under a trunk! plesk Unltd. domains license, for example, itself is worth USD70 a month, is a bargain on VPS at around USD10 a month.
I am keen to know how many applications are available under Plesk, out of 30 something possible!

I will submit a request to RIPE and see what they have to say. They allocate subnets to our company only once we prove usage of our previously allocated subnets. Even Bluesqaure cannot get subnets directly on their name unless they justify need for additional subnets.

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response. I think as per RIPE, I can get the "sub" IPs allocated in my name if I have 5 (or 16?) subsequent IPs?
Also, could someone please tell me a solution to include SQL server 2005 std databases with this plan. Of course buying is one option but a whopping USD1600 for a few customers is not justifiable.
I am building a client base for this plan so hopefully I will get some goodies from you.
Regards

That is not always the case. I have an allocation of 6 usable IPs from my ISP; yes, RIPE do have my details since it is a substantial allocation, but my details aren't shown publicly in the whois registry.

Click on the "order now" button for the Windows Semi-Dedicated plan and you will see an option to include mssql 2005 standard in the order wizard.
