Free Domain Contest
As part of our campaign for the growth and expansion of our business as well as our forum, we have decided to start a free domain contest where both new and existing members can be in with a chance of winning a free domain; existing customers and other internet users are also encouraged to join up to be in with a chance. The domain that you win can be your choice, and will be registered by us for 1 year for .com and other GTLD domains, and 2 years for CCTLDs respectively. To be in with a chance to win a GTLD domain then you will need to post 40 high-quality posts; to be in with a chance of winning a CCTLD domain then you will need to have completed 70 high-quality posts. Like all competitions and contests, this one has rules.
Contest Rules
-To be in with a chance of winning a free domain, a user must make either 40 or 70 high quality posts, depending on the type of domain they want. Material posted must be written by him/her self and can not come from any other source.
-If material is found to be copied then the user must compensate for this by completing 5 quality posts written by him/herself.
-Each user is limited to a maximum of 1 free domain from this contest.
-Posts made in the 'Off Topic' section of this forum can not count towards the final total.
-A user must not posts more than 10 times a day for this contest, otherwise posts may be considered spam.
-Any user wishing to participate in this contest must be above the age of 16.
-This contest shall be conducted by eUKhost at its sole and absolute discretion.
-The recipient undertakes not to raise any disputes with respect to the provision of a free domain against eUKhost nor will he/she initiate any legal proceedings with respect to the provision of a free domain against eUKhost.
By participating in this contest, the user is hereby agreeing to the above stated terms and conditions.
Any user who is participating in this content and is found to be breeching these rules will have their forum user account disabled with immediate effect.
In order to claim your free domain, you will need to PM me and I will then review your posts and the decision will be taken from there.
I have noticed that people have been opening threads with random questions in order to get their post count up. From this point in time these question threads will not count towards your post count as they are not classed as quality posts and are not helpful in any sense what-so-ever. People who keep opening these type of threads will have their account suspended permenantly.
IMPORTANT
I have noticed a few members (I won't name and shame them), who are replying to very old forum topics to try and quickly get the posts required for the free domain contest.
Posting to very old topics will only get you an infraction, and not a free domain name.
As mentioned in the contest rules, posts must be of a "high-quality" - posting in very old topics will only deem your posts of a very low quality, as chances are, the topic is so outdated, that the information contained is pretty much useless.
Let this be a warning to you all.

I presume this is only available once i.e. if you get 80 posts you can't ask for two .com domains?

Just thought it would be useful for clarification. I think everything else is pretty much self explanitory!

Sounds good - glad eUKhost managed to open this contest again.
Guess I'm out as I already won one lol . It's OK, got all the ones I want / need for the moment.
But just as clarification for other people it might be worth a mention if "winners" of the previous free domain contest are eligible to enter this one? .

Definately sounds like a grey area to me. I didn't claim one last time though so it doesn't really apply to me.

I have some questions:
1. If I get a free domain from you, can I point it to another nameservers than yours?
2. Can I transfer it to another company?
3. Can I enter the contest if I don't have a hosting account at you?
Please answer, thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can register any tld that you could register normally through eUKhost using the order form. Don't forget though you need more quality posts (70) to get a .co.uk compared to something like a .com where you need less (40).
This is due to the fact that .co.uk's must be registered for at least a 2 years whereas .coms and other tlds start at 1 year .

Yes, just contact either a moderator or an admin and your posts will be taken into consideration. You will be then informed of the result in due course and any further action / extra posts you may have to make before claiming your domain name.
