The contest is still ongoing. When you have achieved 40 quality posts you can PM a mod or admin who will then review your posts to see if you qualify for a .com domain for one year.
Hope that helps .

Just to confirm that this overrides Win a Free Domain!, which is older, locked and has slightly different requirements. Perhaps that thread should be removed or something since it also contains a lot of replies to deleted posts, and contains contradictory information to this one.
P.S. arrrrrg I just got above 30 posts, and only just noticed you changed the minimum to 40! Nevermind I'm sure I'll get there soon enough.
I have an idea for a web 2.0 application and I'm still trying to think of a good domain name for it anyhow, so it will give me time to choose a good name

Yees, this topic does override that one which was the previous free domain contest.
The reason for the topic being locked is due to the contest being over and the last posts state that that particular contest has been closed.
Hope that helps .

I've just added another rule, and can think of a few 'new' members that this can be applied to.

I have noticed that people have been opening threads with random questions in order to get their post count up. From this point in time these question threads will not count towards your post count as they are not classed as quality posts and are not helpful in any sense what-so-ever. People who keep opening these type of threads will have their account suspended permenantly.

Hi:
Thanks a lot for the kind offer! I am looking forward to getting a free dotcom! Is the hosting included too as a co-offer? That would make a great set! Any way, this is a great site already, and you can really have the further growth because of the good content. Not just good content, but the people here are also very nice and helpful. This is a real lovable forum. Thanks again for making it so. God bless all.
P.S:
This is to answer to Mr. Ben (please see below) and also not to add to my "count":
Dear Sir:
I absolutely don't need to stoop to such a low level just to add to my count. Also, I asked because people like me (from another country) usually don't have the foreign exchange to pay for the quality web hosting, hence I asked about the hosting. It was also an humble suggestion to start a co-offer, of-course, for additional "QUALITY" posts, so we too can have working DotCom sites on QUALITY Hosts, like those existing in the UK, rather than having somebody in my own backyard who usually just promise and don't deliver. This is just an explanation and not to degrade anyone on this forum in any way. Sorry, if I did not mention this in this post earlier.

This competition doesn't include hosting - only a free domain.

It is getting quite typical that people keep posting questions that are already answered. If it doesn't say anything about hosting - then hosting is not included. Please read the first post of this thread to see if your question has been answered already. And please remember, QUALITY is what we want - not QUANTITY.

Unfortunately the contest is only for a free domain as has been mentioned.
To add to these replies, eUKhost also accepts Paypal as a method of payment which should be easy for you to sign up for irrelevant of what country your in. That way you can get the hosting you desire without any of the currency barrier problems.
Hope that helps .

Hi eUKhost:
Thanks for the compliments and God bless!
I always believe that when I must write I try to put my soul and heart into my thoughts. I also like to help others in anyway possible, and if that helps other souls then it gives me complete satisfaction. When friends like you compliment that helps immensely too.
I had been to UK before, London and Liverpool, in 1995. I had sensed the difference in the UK people's kind attitude (especially, when I had arrived there from NYC), especially towards the elders. It was a beautiful experience then. I can sense the same kindness in you too. Thanks for keeping the human values alive. This post is a little divergent from the main theme , but, for a change, I love speaking my feelings.
Thanks again,
Keep smiling

"If you love someone, they will love you and if you hate someone then expect hatred in return."
I believe in this phrase and you are right with your judgment of UK people. I wont say that all UK people respect other fellow mates but those who follow English culture are soft spoken and they respect every human being.
Attitude is the major difference between Americans and Britons

Yes, like everywhere you do get idiots - every country has them. But there are some nice people to brighten your day as well - and its always such a relief to meet people like this .

I feel great to be here on this forum! True about the English Culture and the Attitude (with the capital A). I remember the day I landed on Heathrow, the filght was long and I was already hungry, my friend there was waiting, and we went to our hotel (at Dalebury Hotel, Tooting Bec).
It took another 3 hours to get to a nearby shop to get some food. There was a long queue, and the young lady behind the counter was attending to all the customer with a beautiful smile and thorough efficiency. As my number came, just then a very old gentleman entered the shop with a walking stick. Seeing him, this charming lady politlely excused herself, rushed to this old gentleman and served him the food first. She never lost the smile, but had an added loving concern for this elderly. I watch the entire scene and that scene is still freshly in front of me. I was happy that my "hunger" took me there and a very beautiful human act was unfolded before me! Well, the food that she later served me (absolutely required!), with proper apology (absolutely not required) was one of the tastiest meals I had in a long time! Great people you have there!!
Small incident??... Not at all! Such incidents were very common in my short stay in UK. I am thankful for those bright moments. You can say that there are darker alleys in every city, but I found just beautiful landscapes and true human beings there! I remember those days with much affection! Who says it is luck to find the sunshine over UK??... watch those kind faces, you will always find the loveliest sunrays there!!
Ok, getting back to business now
