Impressive. Is this for new hosting, replacing old kit or a bit of both?

As far as I'm aware, these servers are for dedicated server customers.

Yes, this lot is for Dedicated servers only, but if needed, our shared servers too will be quickly replaced with these new chunks

These servers can handle upto 600 shared hosting accounts. We have one 3060 server and this server is hosting good number of accounts and there has been no downtime on the server from last 1 year.

Quality of Dell hardware is superb and new 3065 is much better than the 3060 has CPU speed of 3065 is more than 3060 and CPU cache is twice in 3065.

No - transferring over 4000 accounts to new servers would cause havock.

I'm not too sure but I think he means any new customers that sign up now - not preexisting custoemers .

That stock was just for Dual Core Intel Xeon 3065. Here's another picture of the new nodes with x3220 CPU

x3220 is better than x3065. CPU speed is same in both, but CPU cache is twice in x3220 and x3220 is a Quad Core Xeon while x3065 is Dual Core Xeon.

Dell have really good machines - but the problem is that anything that customers buy from them will always be different. Those servers may look the same, but lots of them will probably have different controllers and motherboards.

The main thing is that they perform the job that they have to (in this case web hosting) to a good standard - which I am sure they will do!
