Hehe, I would have been the one person not to win it lol. Its a competition of even chances, you both have the chance and everyone has a vote so its up to the public!! I'm just a piece of the furniture now!

Sorry to be a curmudgeon but I'm declining to vote for a variety of reasons, including:

not finding any blog comments from Flesso whatsoever (after looking through more than 50% of all comments) — I stopped because of ...
being considerably confused by the blog in that many comments seem to re-appear in different sections, making it virtually impossible to count how many comments were made;
generally, not finding the quality of the majority of comments to be of sufficiently high quality to qualify for this contest;
not finding the criteria of posting 25 blog comments to be as worthy as many of the highly helpful comments posted in these forums, by several other members — as far as I'm concerned they are far more worthy of winning a notebook ...

You can see from the admin side of the blog who has made which comments. I personally don't know how many Flesso has made but I presume he has made the required 25.

You are able to put them into different sections as some are relevant to different areas or webhosting/computing. Quality of the comments can always be debated so I presume Mark and the eUKhost team have checked there are 25 comments which are worthy of being classed as 'quality'.

OK, so I've since registered with the Blog in order to find things more easily (except that's a joke as it only displays the last 20 Comments)! By searching through the posts by month:

As far as I can see the rules are that contestants qualify by posting at least 25 COMMENTS in the blog between 14th July 2007 to 31st October 2007 — Josh has posted 14 articles and NO comments, whereas Jonathan has posted 0 articles and 7 comments, i.e. neither qualify!

Hence my continuing protest ... c'mon Mark, how come no official viewpoint on this so far?

Although me and Jonathon may not have posted the sufficient amount, we have posted articles/comments and no other forum members have made an effort to do so. We have put our time into our posts and comments, and were the only ones to make the effort. Mark can't just have the competition running for 3 months and at the end say 'sorry, no one meets the criteria' because some of us had made an effort for the contest.

Fair enough Josh — I've also since realised that Jonathan has registered in the blog with two different identities (smart? NOT!) and therefore it puts a totally different perspective on the game! He seems to have posted 5 articles (unless he's also the 'John' in amongst the posters)?
