Hello all,

From today all new VPS orders will be setup on the following servers:

Linux VPS Nodes:

2 x Quad Core Intel Xeon E5420, 2.5GHz
12GB RAM
2 x 500GB 7,200rpm 3.5inch SATA hard drive(hot plug)
Hardware RAID1

Windows VPS Nodes:

2 x Quad Core Intel Xeon E5420, 2.5GHz
12GB RAM
2 x 750GB 7,200rpm 3.5inch SATA hard drive(hot plug)
Hardware RAID1
Windows 2003 Enterprise

We are confident that with these new specifications our VPS products are amongst the best performing in the industry. For those of you interested in what the servers look like, here are a few pictures.

Damn, does that mean i missed the boat by a couple of weeks!

Thats just typical, everything i buy gets upgraded a week later!

Oh well. Atleast i can rest in the fact that im probably on a faster server than those who signed up two weeks before i did!

Computers eh?

I am quite happy with the performance of ours at the moment

But I will be investing in a new one in the very near future for myself.

Could I have discount for using the old ones please ?

lol. we paid more for old servers than what we've paid for these new Dual Quad Core, 12GB RAM servers

System failure possibilities are almost nil with these new servers as you have hot swappable drives and dual CPU's which leaves failure possibilities for only Motherboard and Nic card. Dell motherboards and Nic cards rarely fail and if they do fail then we can replace those in 10 - 15 minutes

what else do you need to make your customers happy

Hi,

He was not joking as much as you think.. We have just ordered some branded T-Shirts and we are very happy to have a volunteer. Walking advertisements are useful

All customers that signed up last year should receive one within the next few weeks. We are sending second class to save on postage costs.
