Have you contacted support to check whether your IP is on the whitelist for FTP access or whether there are FTP problems on your server temporarily at the moment?

No. Only just found out about the issues. I knew there had been an attack of some sort because google was reporting my website as a bad un lol. I deleted the whole website to be on the safe side and have been rebuilding from scratch. I've been ftp ing fine until today, but then again the whole website, email and ftp went down earlier but was restored. Thing is, I can't even get into cpanel on that one domain, the other domain is ftp ing no problem. Ergo, I imagine I must have had ftp access without applying to the white list.
I reported all this on the 13th and there was nothing on the forums at the time so I thought it was just my website which is why I deleted everything..........doh!

If its only one of your websites that is playing up and your others are working fine, I would open a ticket with support about it. Especially seen as though your cPanel and email isnt working on that one domain as well. Sounds like an isolated problem to that one domain.

Use "/cpanel" instead of ":2082/frontend/x/index.html" as the 'x' skin has been replaced by 'x3'. Alternatively try ":2082/frontend/x3/index.html".

Yes, that is a good point that Eidolon also mentioned in another thread and it solved that persons problems with cPanel. I always use /cpanel as it avoids problems like this when updates occur.

Thanks Eidolon, did that and eventually got in.
Submitted support ticket, they resolved the ftp issue yesterday. Guess what? Today it's gone back to read only. New ticket sent.

I have just found this string in my website. Do I just remove it or do you need details.
