Getting back to the free domain.... If you have 60 posts, could you get 2 .com domains instead of a .co.uk?

Only 1 domain would be possible for us. You will get a .co.uk domain free if you cross 60 posts but giving more domains won't be possible for us as many of our members have more than 30 posts so we will need to give that many free domains to them if we change the rule.

The only reason I didn't suggest that is because I thought that someone from eUKhost (Like Mark or Ryan) had to come on the forum anyway and verify the post count and things like that. But I am not 100% sure on this, its just the way I have seen it happen in the past.

I was always under the impression it was quality posts - and in that case fgames1 is still on about 2 at best.

Thats why I advised him to wait for someone from eUKhost to come and reply to him on the forum as they need to check his posts to see if he qualifies.

I was going to say 2 was a bit generous...... Brian is about right!

. Was it fgames1 that got a temporary ban a while back or was that someone else with a very similar name?

Harsh comments...but fair.

Fgames1's barely literate postings lead me to think he wouldn't even know what "quality" meant, let alone spell it.

And if you thought that was harsh, you have no idea how much these spammers out for a free lunch who clog up forums wind me up. If we were in a pub, I would have chinned someone who annoyed me this much by now.

Still, my doctor says I mustn't get angry.

In any case, I might start ranting like DPS a while back (sorry old boy, but there's still mileage in that thread and I will have my pound and three ounces of flesh

)

Well avatari, I agree but I wasn't ranting for no reason!! I just didn't want to see the forum overrun with meaningless posts because once one person gets away with it hundreds more follow, register and do the same.

And you have nothing to be sorry about, I'm glad to see people hate meaningless posts and repetative posts as much as me!

I've permanently banned him now. some of his nonsense posts have been deleted so he wont get a chance to claim free domain now. This should serve as a notification to those who will think of going through other route for free domain.
