1) What is eUKhost's uptime?
eUKhost have a reliable uptime record of 99.9%.
2) I've just signed up for an eUKhost package, how long until my account is setup?
This depends on the platform you have chosen to go with. If you have chosen Linux (cPanel) then you will receive your welcome email with all the necessary details within half an hour of your payment being verified; this time is longer on Windows accounts because they have to be set up manually.
3) My website is currently hosted with another provider, will you be able to move my data over?
Account transfer is currently only available for cPanel on Linux. If your old hosting account is cPanel based, then simply open a ticket with support [at] eukhost.com after you have recieved your welcome email; in the ticket you will need to specify the following details:
-Username, domain and eUK server that your website is to be hosted on.
-Login details and IP address/hostname of the old server in which your website was hosted on.
4)Uh oh: I've changed my nameservers as stated in welcome email, but I can't receive any email to my new eUKhost account.
This is caused because your DNS hasn't propagated. This basically means that the nameserver changed are set to take affect across the whole of the internet; the current guidelines are that this could take between 24-48 hours, although this is normally not the case.
5) What do I do if I'm not happy with my service?

10) I've been told to secure my shopping website with an SSL certificate, how do I do this?
An SSL certificate is an encrypted certificate which encrypts any data between a website and the client when the website is being viewed in ssl (https) mode. eUKhost can provide you with an SSL certificate for £39/year including installation; this price includes the static IP address which will be required to run the SSL certificate.
