How old do you need to be to actually be illegible for hosting?

For example, if I wanted hosting, and my dad paid for it, would it still be ok?

There is no minimum age criterion as such. Obviously if you are not a major, the account will be paid for by your parents. However, the only thing to bear in mind here is that when there is a call for account verification, the details which have been submitted has to match fully and also your father should not refuse to pay

Ensure that he stays informed

So should my dad take the call? The thing is he doesn't know the first thing about computers

He doesn't need to take the call himself. You can take the call and confirm the payment details with us.

I had to do the same thing. As long as everything is legit, you won't have any issues.
