Hi

We are thinking of taking out webspace with your Business Web Hosting Package. We intend to set up a membership subscription service and plan to use Amember Pro. Could you tell me if the Business hosting package will allow us to use this? Here's a link to the site download page with a little information on requirements, if you're not familiar with it:

Not being a techie of any kind I also wonder what the Linux VPS option would give us over the business package (if anything) and whether (if the VPS is better) amember would also run on this package as well.

Hi Pete,

Welcome to eUKhost forums. We have checked the system requirements for Amember Pro and those requirements are supported on our Business Web Hosting servers. This service would also run absolutely fine on a VPS.

Business hosting will give you 100% uptime, as we have implemented a server mirroring solution with the help of FAM and Rsync modules which allows the second server to take over the master server, if the master server fails for some reason.

With a VPS you get guaranteed amount of resources for your own usage and complete isolation from other accounts on the same server along with shell access.

If uptime is a topmost priority for you, I would suggest you to choose Business Web Hosting.
