Question Anyone tried Hosting DNN (Dotnetnuke) Sites?

Has anyone tried hosting a DNN (Dotnetnuke) CMS Site?

I'm hoping to host my first DNN site on the windows shared hosting gold package.

Does anyone know if this can be done and how much access you get to the folders, i need to be able to add ASP.NET security onto the folder that will hold the DNN Site for it to work.

Also

Will my clients be able to use the login features on the site which will allow them to make changes on the site?

look forward to any help received.

Hello Brewal,

Welcome to the forum. You can definitely host your DotNetNuke site on the Windows Gold hosting package. Our Windows servers support ASP.NET, you can install DNN under the virtual directory of your domain name and access it using the following http://yourdomain.com/DNN folder. We will provide all the required permissions for your domain folder as well as DNN folder.

Your clients will also be able to use the login feature on the site which will allow them to make changes on the site.

We can install DNN in a way that in can be accessed directly at yourdomain.com For this we will need to create a dedicated application pool for your domain name and assign special permissions. It'd not be possible to install the DNN into the domain's root directory from within the Plesk control panel, but you can contact our windows support dept, so that they'd get it installed manually for you
