Default Best Hosting plan to start with?

Hi Guys,

I'm sure this question has been asked many times before but sadly i'm a bit pushed for time to check the forums. I'm currently designing web website hostings for local companies and then passing off the hosting to a 3rd party and allowing the client to pay them for the services. As much as I enjoy just implementing designs I'd like to get into hosting the website hostings myself.

The website hostings aren't particularly large, mostly just simple pages used for advertising, booking and contact. I have a few larger website hostings that are coming up which will be written using ASP.Net, so my question is: Which plan would I be best off starting with?

And on a side note, are ASP.Net Ajax extensions installed?

Thanks in advance!

I imagine you would be best starting off with a reseller plan although you should also discuss this more in depth with sales either through LiveChat on the main website hosting (http://www.eukhost.com) or by contact sales@eukhost.com.

I think Ajax extensions are available on at least some servers if not all are they not? You will need to wait for someone to confirm this but I think so.

If you are getting lots of business you might consider getting a dedicated server. It also really depends on your budget.

Hope that helps

Hi Benne,

Welcome to the forum. With regards to your question, since you are looking to host the website hostings you design for your clients, you can start off with a Reseller plan as you can create multiple accounts and manage them yourself and each website hosting hosted under the reseller account gets it's own control panel.

ASP.NET Ajax extensions are installed on few of our servers.

Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Default Ajax Extensions

Wow! Thanks for such a rapid replies, you've both been great help!

On closer inspection, I think either the Windows Standard or Unlimited resellers would probably suit my current needs. Is the Ajax Extension available on either of these?

Thanks again

I can't say about whether you can get them on those however I was going to say you'll want Windows hosting. Maybe start at Standard and you can always upgrade to the Unlimited if you need the extra bandwidth and space. If the website hostings are only small, I would think Standard should do for now.

No problem . I will always help you out if I can .

I'm sure if you ask at signup for your reseller account to be created on one of the servers with AJAX extensions installed that eUKhost will be able to do this for you - just DONT FORGET to put it in the additional details / requirements / information section (or whatever it is called - I can't remember it is that long since I signed up!) so that they are aware this is what you want.

Hope that helps
