Default buy Dedicated Server Hosting

Hi,

I currently have two dedicated servers hosted in Maidenhead, but with a different company. Their technical support is not brilliant and they can only be contacted by a contact form on their website hosting. Recently my dedicated server has had some downtime- which is unacceptable to me as I am loosing money every minute it is offline. So far today it has been offline for 5 hours and they still can't seem to fix it

The two dedicated servers that I lease currently have WHM and Cpanel installed, if I lease a dedicated server from yourselves will this have WHM and Cpanel installed?

One of the dedicated servers has a video hosting website hosting on it, which requires ffmpeg. It currently uses phpmotion, are your dedicated server compatible with this script?

I'd like to combine both of the dedicated servers that I lease now and have them both on one dedicated server, until the bandwidth is too great and then I will move one of the sites to another dedicated server if needed.

I am sure I read somehere that you offer a free migration service, how reliable is this service and exactly what is moved? for example are all hosted email accounts moved or do they need recreating on the new dedicated server?

The last firm offered a free migration and screwed everything up and my website hosting was down for two days, I had to get an expert webmaster to fix it all!

If the dedicated server goes down do you offer a guarantee?

Sorry about so many questions!

Thanks

chez

Hi Chez,

I have answered all your questions as following :-

Q.1 The two dedicated servers that I lease currently have WHM and Cpanel installed, if I lease a dedicated server from yourselves will this have WHM and Cpanel installed?
Ans :- Yes. You can choose WHM - cPanel at the time of order. We will take care of installing cpanel - WHM on your dedicated server as well as configuring it with basic security and auto-updates.

Q.2 One of the dedicated servers has a video hosting website hosting on it, which requires ffmpeg. It currently uses phpmotion, are your dedicated servers compatible with this script?
Ans :- Yes. We will install ffmpeg on your dedicated server. phpmotion installation and configuration is quite simple and it should work once we get your data migrated from your existing dedicated server.

Q. 3 I am sure I read somehere that you offer a free migration service, how reliable is this service and exactly what is moved? for example are all email accounts moved or do they need recreating on the new dedicated server?
Ans :- We have expertise in migration of cpanel dedicated servers and everything will be cloned from your old dedicated server on our new dedicated server. Only thing that we need to do is check the basic php modules installed on your old dedicated server and install those on our dedicated server before initiating migration of your data. All your emails, databases, website hosting data, stats and everything else will get migrated from your old dedicated server to our new Dedicated Server.

Q.4 If the dedicated server goes down do you offer a guarantee? How do I proceed to buy dedicated server ?
Ans :- We offer 99.95% uptime guarantee on all our web hosting plans. You will be compensated if we fail to meet our uptime guarantee on any of our web hosting plans. You won't face any downtime during migration process as we have expertise in migration of cpanel servers. You will need to visit Dedicated Server Hosting | Managed Dedicated Servers | Linux Windows SQL Servers and choose a Dedicated Server CPU of your choice and click on "confiugre". You can then configure RAM, Hard Disk, Control Panel choisece, preferred operating system, Bandwidth and then proceed to buy dedicated server in next step.

I hope I have answered all your questions, please feel free to ask if you have any other question that needs to be answered.

I can certainly say the support team are able to do migrations of dedicated servers with no problem. I keep upgrading and moving hosting plans and they do it all for me.

Which I'm sure they love you for .

But on a serious note, support are very good and experienced with migrations of dedicated servers, with that absolute minimum downtime - which 99% of the time is no downtime .

Thanks for the excellent reply.

The servers have not been down since and so I will stay with my existing form for the time being. I only moved away from 1&1 in the first place because the server crashed and was offline at least ten times per month.

I have saved you to my bookmarks and will be in touch should I need to move servers again.

Once again thanks for the answers.

I think the 99.5% uptime guarantee is enough incentive to get their dedicated hosting.
