How many databases does the shared hosting packages get? My currant host underwent massive problems with their databases so I am currently looking for one that is more stable. I run 2 databases (soon to be 3) and that is the bulk of the use of my entire site so when they are down it is more than inconvenient. My concern at the moment is going for a service where the users can get many databases as this could result in abuse and hence my site suffering. I am also curious about daily scripts running. Currently I have 1 very small script running once per day where all it does is update 2 tables on one (soon to be 2) databases (aprox 160 values total). Is this permitted on your shared hosting?

Hello Dukes,

We have not prescribed a limit on the number of MySQL databases one can have on a hosting plan. You can create as many databases as per your requirement within the allotted disk space, as they are only restricted by your disk space allocation. You can also host your daily running script on one of our shared hosting packages.

And the server shouldn't get over-run with databases and the load from them with being restricted by disk space. So that shouldn't be a problem.

Sounds like shared hosting would be good for you.

Here here! Theres nothing worse than paying loads for something and then discovering theres something really annoying with it!!
