Default Difference in connectivity between hosting options

Hi
I am considdering moving from another host as I wold like better connectivity(less downtime) and hope for better database performance.

Do the different levels of shared hosting give different levels of connectivity ordo they only differ in disc space and bandwidth.

Although my requirements for discspace and bandwiddth would be met by your bronze shared, I am wondering about going for business hosting.

The site in question currently gets around 1500 visits per day and is database driven.

In total EUK has 20,000mbits of network connectivity for their Servers. It has 2 x 10 Gbps uplinks for their data center. Each Server in their data center is setup on 100 Mbps, fully-switched port on an edge switch. Each edge switch is then in turn plugged into two separate aggregation switches at 1gbit, with failover redundancy allowing either 1gbit link to fail.

The only difference is disk space and the bandwidth

It is recommended that you consider VPS plan where you get complete remote access to the server and you can also install any applications you need.

Hello Denisl,

As far as network connectivity goes there won't be any issues as all our servers are setup on 100 Mbps connection. The only difference between shared hosting packages is allotted disk space and bandwidth. If you have to choose between Bronze package and business package, I would recommend you to consider Business hosting package as uptime offered on it is 100%. If you don't want downtime for your business website, business hosting is the right choice to go

You can check our business hosting plan at Business Web Hosting - 100% Uptime Guarantee Hosting plan

I would suggest Business Hosting if site uptime is the topmost priority for you. Business hosting will give you 100% uptime, as we have mirroring in place which allows the second server to take over the master server, if the master server fails for some reason.

Thank you for the replies.
There are a number of references to VPS in these forms but not much mention of your business hosting - I assume they are not the same thing. Do they have the same level of connectivity/redundancy/mirroring?

By default, all our servers are setup on 100 Mbps connection and connectivity will be same on VPS. If you are looking for mirroring (100% uptime) ,business hosting is most cost effective for you at a price of £19.99 per month. We can offer you mirroring solution on a VPS as well however you will need to consider 2 VPS's which will cost you more than £50 per month.

All you need to do is signup for a hosting package as per your requirements
