Smile Domain Names Q?

Hi !!

A question about Domain Names:

When My website hosting is up and running, how many separate Domains can I have from the same hosting package? Are there any usual problems with such things like this I should know about?
Would they be "Subdomains?"

For example:

I have a forum with the address: .......linuxforums....?
An address for interest in the viewing and sale of "arty" things .........arts....?
An address involving the Houses of Parliament and the Home Office .........policy....?
....etc, etc.

All of which would be present on the "front page" (portal?) and each website hosting would have it's own addres.

Things are progressing and I've begun learning html from the ground up, and I'm still looking at a December start-date!

Any comments would be welcome.

You can have as many addon domains on your web hosting account as you like providing you have the space, bandwidth etc. to support them.

And you could have them as subdomains or put them simply in another directory which the domain goes to.

You can host as many separate domains(Addon domains) under your web hosting package as long as enough disk space and bandwidth is available in your account. Each addon domain creates a subfolder within your public_html folder for you to put the content of that domain.

When visitors load your website hosting using any of your addon domains, the data will appear to come from your addon domain as a url.

Subdomain is a part of your main domain. If your main domain is www.mysite.com and you install a message board, You can add a sub-domain from your Control Panel for your board and the URL would be something like forum.mysite.com.
