Default Hosting question multiple domains

Hi,

Sorry if you get asked this all the time but I want to be sure in my mind I am purchasing the correct web hosting package.

I currently have a home website which i pay streamline for (£30ish quid for 2 years). but soon I have the need for these websites:

1 home website
1 website - a brochure site for a friends business, just a couple of pages no shop
1 website with possible (not definite) adertising revenue
1 website possibly with a small shop

So in terms of web hosting what I need is 4 domain names (which I have kinda chosen already and one of which I already own) and a reasonable but not massive amount of space on each.

Looking at your packages it seems to imply that I can buy a set amount of space and run each of these websites as completely seperate domains is this correct?? SO I can have 4 completely unconnected websites under one package??

I am looking at the silver package at this stage.

Thanks for your help and sorry if its a stupid question. I am pretty new to all this.

Hi Michelle,

You can host multiple websites on the silver plan completely isolated from each other. Domains which need separate website should be added as addon domains from the cpanel control panel. You will get separate FTP login for these addon domains and you can directly upload your content using respective FTP login or you can use the main FTP login and upload content of respective website and respective directory.

Our livechat support team will help you with the setup process as you will need some help in the beginning to upload your websites.

Firstly, to the forums shelvis.

And secondly, as long as the sites are within the TOS then there is no problem. Commercial sites are acceptable .

I didn't know how to go about this myself a few weeks ago. I had four sites all run on 4 separate accounts (with a free host) but it was unreliable. I bought the copper package and have moved over two of the domains so far with another two to follow, all within my allowance and all on the same account.

If you start with copper, you can upgrade to silver at a later date and make a pro- rata payment of the difference. I enquired about this myself and that was the answer given.

Well worth a punt.

Mark

I used the copper package back when my needs were similar to shelvis's. Worked out fine, no problems.
