I have a Joomla Website and I would like to switch to eukhost but I have few questions before I make the decision.

1. You have mentioned that you have Fantastico integrated with cpanel. How do you manage the Fantastico updates ?
2. If I switch to you then would your Fantastico allow auto upgrades to my existing Joomla installation ?
3. Can I create component alias through Joomla Hosting ?
4. Do you allow Joomla installation to create new pages with nobody ownership and 777 permission ?

This 4 things are very important for me to make a decision.

I've answered your questions one by one as below :-

1. You have mentioned that you have Fantastico integrated with cpanel. How do you manage the Fantastico updates ?
Ans :- We have configured auto updates for Fantastico and that runs through cron every night. If there are any updates from netenberg then those are fetched and installed. This updates are applicable for all scripts included in Fantastico.

2. If I switch to you then would your Fantastico allow auto upgrades to my existing Joomla installation ?
Ans :- Fantastico stores installation data inside your account ( below public_html ). You will need to ensure that you make proper package of your account before uploading that on our servers. I would prefer to get the account transfer done from our staff as we can get this done quickly and you wont loose any data from your account if we take care of the transfer.

3. Can I create component alias through Joomla Hosting ?
Ans :- All features supported by Joomla are included and we dont restrict any features offered alongwith Joomla .

4. Do you allow Joomla installation to create new pages with nobody ownership and 777 permission ?
Ans :- Yes. WE have no problem with files and folders with nobody ownership or 777 permission as our security rules implemented on server don't allow anyone to upload anything that would create problems for server.

It would be better to open a ticket for our support staff from our Support Helpdesk. Forum posts are answered by Sales department and support department has to give top priority to helpdesk.

We dont advertise 10 min or 15 min response time guarantee but we do answer more than 90% of the tickets in less than 10 mins. It can take 30 mins to 1 hour incase the the ticket is complicated to answer.
