Default Linux Standard Reseller - a few Qs

Hi. I am reading my way through all the help stuff and, if left to my own devices, will eventually find the answer. But just thought someone here wil be able to speed things up.

1 When I signed up I used a domain name - say mydomain.com. When I log in to the control panel to upload a site it says that the account mydomain.com has a limit of 100MBs. Is it possible to increase this to eg 300? I had a look in the whm panel but couldn't see a way to alter this account.

2 When creating a new account through whm, there is a drop down list of options eg standard, advanced with 100MB disc space etc. Can I customise these. For example, I've got another domain that only requires about 20MB space.

3 I set up a new account through whm and it sent the "New Account Info" email OK. But it gave only one dns nameserver: ns21.eukdns.com. The domain name for the name account is registered with ukreg and their system requires 2 nameservers. Can I use ns21.eukdns.com for the first and just put ns22.eukdns.com for the second, or will that cause problems. OR

4 is this where the private nameserver info comes into play? What do I do with the private ns info?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Paul
Some answers - I hope

1. You signed up with mydomain.com - but it is still an account under your reseller package like any other you create. To increase it's space see 2

2. In WHM go to the packages section and create/edit packages - you can specify limits for disk space and bandwidth usage. Then once the packages are created to your satisfaction - go to the account functions and upgrade/downgrade an account and assign it to your chosen package. Note you can create as many different packages as you want

3. Namesevers - when you signed up for the reseller package you will have recieved an email giving the two nameservers you need to use - these are the same for all domains you host

4. Think private nameservers are only available on VPS and above.

Regards
David

Thanks David. I've managed to create custom packages.

However I can't see my original mydomain.com as an account - I can only see the new ones I've created. Should it be listed in the same place as all the others, or is there a special place that I haven't discovered yet?

Again, thanks for your help.

You might need to get onto support about this. I had the same problem a while back and a few clicks from support and it was sorted.
