Default Looking for web hosting..having problems w/current host

Hello,

Our website gets about 17,000 unique visitors and about 80,000 page views a day. I'm starting to notice problems with the server crashing because its running out of memory (it has 3.5 GB). We have the highest possible server configuration with our current host.

I'm thinking we need to either offload mysql or setup load balancing between multiple servers, but I don't know much about the subject and I am having a difficult time trying to find information on it that, frankly, makes sense to me

The pricing here is attractive, and while our current host provides "unlimited" bandwidth, I notice that the limits here are quite generous.

About the 8GB configuration setup, how does that work? Do you need a 64 bit OS to utilize it? Is load balancing an easy setup (I know nothing about it)?

Thanks.

Our Q6600 Server with 8 GB RAM will be a perfect solution for this requirement. We are offering this server for low price right now to promote this configuration.

You wont need to consider another server right now as Q6600 can be clocked upto 4 GHz and we will install 64 bit OS to get maximum performance.

We can provide you with a load balanced solution as well in which one server will be your Apache server and other will be database Server. Apache Server will communicate with the MySQL server in internal LAN and MySQL server wont have any public access. This kind of load balanced setup will be perfect in terms of security settings as well as no one would be able to create any sort of problems for the datababase and as there wont be any other service besides Apache Server on the web server so there wont be any sort of security concerns in long run.

Thanks for the replies.

I've taken a look at the pricing for the Q6600 8GB plan and all I can say is, what's the catch? We have about 56 domains across 43 "accounts" (accounts set up through their control panet, not actual client accounts, if that makes sense) with our current host. Would this be a problem? And could I get a dedicated Linux server based in the UK?

All our new Servers are UK based and this server is based in UK. There's no catch in this offer as we are in love with this Q6600 Servers and we have purchased Q6600 servers in bulk

We have no problem with any number of accounts you host on this server. You wont have any problem on this server even if you run 1000 client accounts on it.

All I would want to say is the Q6600 configuration servers being offered are all top-line performance oriented servers. The Hardware is humongous only to accommodate as many client accounts as you wish to have. It would be enough to say that a lot many startup hosting providers survive on these servers alone for a long time. All their needs are taken care of

This in itself would be a testimony for Q6600 servers.

From what I've heard and read about these servers, they seem absolutely amazing. I haven't quite reached the stage of needing my own server but when I do, I will definately be considering one of these! And of course, it will be with eUKhost!
