Default php mysql web hosting

Hi all,

I have ordered your silver package and decided that I will pay via post/cheque. (which I have not sent off yet)

I notice eUKhost started in early 2002 but my ID number is only 70 and these forums are very quiet if not dead. I only question this because I have had several hosts that failed to provide what was on offer, a few of them took my money and the website was only online for a week or so then they dissapeared with no replies to my emails.

Regards,

Screwy

Howdy,
I don't know about your ID number, but I know that these forums only started late September. So that answers the forum question. I am a customer myself and everything was fine for me.

Anyway hope it all goes well.

Hello,

I do apologize for delays in this reply we do regularly check the forums for new posts but have been rushed off our feet due to new upgrades.

The forums are dead due to only being launched 27th September but we do hope they will pick up.

We are constantly upgrading our systems and we do host over 2000 customer websites the reason your ID is only 70 is because of new software installs.

Please do not worry we are not a cow boy company and do provide you with the highest possible service you should expect from a web hosting provider.

I do hope this helps upon your decision.

personally bud, i was a bit like that 2 years ago, needless to say, ive been with these chaps since, and have just recently renewed and upgraded, never had any probs, until recently with a bit of downtime, but i`d say its the only prob ive had in 2 years of being here.

i`d recommend them (and have done to others)

Absolutely, I've got 2 websites with the copper package + a domain from EUKHost now and any problems I've had have been sorted straight away. To be honest I think you will struggle to find anyone cheaper for the quality of service that you receive.

The staff help you with anything you need i.e. Help installing a message board, or problems uploading files etc.

They have a chat facility on their website in which you can get help INSTANTLY, and you dont need to pay 50p/min on a phone call.

I've found the service on eukhost to be fantastic pretty much all of the time.

On the occasions I've needed help or had problems, they've generally been fixed within 24 hours, or at most 48.

The live chat is also great and makes it so much easier to get things done. My old host was an absolute pain and I had to ring an 0845 number to get a reply and was usually kept on hold for ages... plus their hosting package only ever gave me 4Gb transfer for life... if I wanted more, I had to buy it, but here I get 5Gb a month.

Our toll free phone support is 24x7 and we don't charge you for any amount of time you spend on the call.

Mac mentioned that some hosts charge you 50p / min if you call them and thats true. You have to pay them no matter what your problems is. You have to pay even if their servers went down due to problems on their end.

Somewhere this pinches me as well as I would never pay for any mistake that someone else did.

I have also been with EUK getting on for 2 years or so and was a good descision to make for me..

The support is there and not much down time if any..

I have 3 individual web host packages with EUK and will stick With EUK as long as the service and performance stays..

I've also got to add to the chorus of praise for this company.

The services are priced very well, and the service has always been top notch - there's only been one glitch in the 2 year's I've been with them - and even then they compensated for it.

Tech support has always been quick and friendly, and you can actually talk to a real person which is a plus.

So yeah - have no fear, it's a top service!

My question would be first - what exactly do you want to host. Just a website, or a forum etc. If you plan to run a forum what type of board do you plan to use?

Ive been with EUKhost for 3-4 years now. They were really rocky about 3 years ago, lots of down time and not good customer service, but since then they seemed to have cleaned up their act (and a much better website as well). Ive hardly had any problems with them the last 2 years, and the ones I did were sorted out quick enough.

Would recommend them ....

Nick
