phpBB (3.0.1) is indeed supported on our servers. You can run the installation of phpBB (3.0.1) manually or install it with only a few clicks through Fantastico.

Yes, I'm there!

I've paid up etc., had the emails and just waiting...

Looking forward to it really, I really need a quick set-up as my website hosting isn't functioning properly (php forum and php online forms), this is down to the shoddy hosts I was with.

I'm sure your setup email should arrive shortly. Good choice using phpBB3 - it's good to see more and more users are supporting good open source projects.

Very quick turnaround - up and running in a matter of hours. I'm all on, uploaded my website hosting etc.

Something a bit weird, I uploaded my old forum phpBB2 and it still works...I haven't created a mySQL database on eUK host though?!

I can only assume it's still pointing at the datatbase on the old host and it might go down soon.

Have a look...

alliancleague

Odd as.!.!

Something else which is odd, my mail rules on my outlook express aren't working - still getting ***spam*** emails along with the usual viagra, bank and watches emails turn up in my inbox when my rules say delete.

I'm sure it'll all settle down soon though.

In the configuration file it may be pointing to the domain / IP address of your previous Web host which may explain it. You have a few options: one of them is going into the config.php file and changing the domain / IP address into localhost (which means on the same server). You could create the MySQL database/user with full rights and contact eUKhost via e-mail/ticket and they'll sort it out for you provided you have given the MySQL database/user details they'll need...
