I noticed in the main eUKhost page for Dedicated Servers'> Semi Dedicated Servers that it says "eUKhost's Semi-Dedicated Servers are a perfect fill-in between Virtual Private Servers and Dedicated Servers". I assume this means that Semi Dedicated Servers are basically like really large VPSes? If so, what virtualization platform do these Semi Dedicated Servers run on? The page doesn't really say.
We use the same virtualization software that is used to run VPS's. We use Virtuozzo to setup VPS's and semi dedicated servers. The only difference between semi dedicated server and VPS is allotted resources and no of accounts on one physical server.
Ah, I thought it had to be something like that. So, for all intents and purposes, it seems you get the resources of a dedicated server but with the price and ease of use of a VPS. Nice!
