Question Shared Hosting Platform

Hello,

I'm about to buy the "Shared Hosting - Bronze" package, but I need to confirm a couple of things:

1. Is the server running Linux?
2. Does it support/allow .htaccess files per directory?
3. Is mod_rewrite installed?
4. Are PHP 5.x and MySQL 5.x installed?
5. Can the database be accessed from the windows mysql client?

Thanks very much for the info,
Seb

1. From memory these packages are linux.
2. Yes.
3. As far as I'm aware it is.
4. PHP 5 is installed on some servers along with MySQL 5.
6. I *think* it can be setup via CPanel, though I'm not completely sure.

Thanks Eidolon !

You Deserve a spot in our sales Team. You answered all questions as I would do. Just a minor modification in answer for 5th question.

5. Can the database be accessed from the windows mysql client?
Ans :- Yes. You can use mysqlyog, DreamWeaver or any other software that you have for remote database management. All you need to do is add your IP address or % in allowed hosts of your mysql section. It better to add your IP ony so that no one can play with your database even if they get username and password of your mysql databases.
