Default Statistics

I have one account with you already... great hosting, and I'm looking to set up another seperate plan under the same account.

Before I transfer my website hosting from another host to you, I wanted to know how to maintain the AWStats I have from the two years my website hosting has been up. Can I delete the AWStats folder under /tmp/, after I've signed up, and replace it with the one I currently have which contains all the past info? Or is it more complicated than that? Does the .conf file relate to your settings?

I appreciate any help.

If you have account on cpanel server with your previous hosting company then you can simply make a backup of your account from control panel over there and allow us to restore that backup on our server.

This way the stats will be transferred successfully. If you dont have cpanel over there then let us do the transfer of stats as our system admins will need to analyze few things before transferring stats.

Thanks for the response.

Because the website hosting is over 200MB I was just going to upload the folders one by one over the course of the day.

The host I am with does use cpanel. Are you saying I should do a full backup and then attempt to upload the backup once I have my account with you? My worry would be attempting to upload a file of that size. Then you mentioned you would restore it, but how?

Thanks

Nothing to worry as such. Its better if you allow us to do this job. We will pull the backup directly on server from server of your previous hosting company so this process wont take anytime to complete. 200 Mb is a big thing if you download and upload from your local machine but thats nothing for servers.
