Switching Host - TYPO3 (3.8) site import

I'm switching hosts to eUKHost and looking to import a medium size TYPO3 CMS. What is the recommended procedure? Do you have experience doing these things before? What are the pitfalls etc?

If you are looking to move existing Typo3 CMS then there should be no problem. If you are doing something else or importing data from different source then you may face some problems but I cannot guess those unless you give some specific information.

I'm having problems exporting the old website hosting en-masse as the (old) server times out due to the size of the file. I think I will have to move stuff over section by section. Joy!

Btw, my first thoughts on eUKHost, the 0800 number doesn't work (either nobody picks up, or the number is engaged), MSN support is fairly good, and had it not been for all your emails getting stuck in my spam filter (and confusing me as to where to log in), it would have been a pretty smooth start.

Call volume has increased recently which has made things difficult for our existing phone setup. We have ordered new hardware which would be tested for next 2 days.

Everything should be perfect with phone service by the end of this week.
