Can you please verify this information?

1. If i Order a VPS Hosting server with Linux (and hence SSH root access), does that really mean that my Dedicated Server will not be hosted in UK? Or am I misunderstanding something here? (ATM I'm hosted in US, and I want to move to a UK server because of the (lack of) performance on the US server).

2. Is there test files available in your different hosting locations? Addresses?

3. Can SSL certificates be ordered (through you) at any time? What kind of certificate are you supplying? Does the dedicated IP following your SSL certificate come in addition to the IP's provided with a VPS Hosting account?

4. If I'm to rent a dedicated server - how many IP's comes with it?

We now have high configuration UK based servers offering SSH access for customers who need SSH Access and other disabled functions of php. Your Linux VPS Hosting would be UK based as all our VPS Hosting nodes are UK based, you will get full SSH root access on a UK based Linux VPS Hosting.

You can order SSL certificates from us, the cost of dedicated SSL certificate is Â£39.00/Year including the dedicated IP. The dedicated IP used for SSL would be in addition to IPs provided along with the VPS Hosting. We offer Dedicated SSL certificate from Comodo.

We offer 5 dedicated IPs with a dedicated server, you can order more IPs if needed.

Thank you, so far so good.

Could you provide me with a bigger file to test (10 MB or something)? And also FTP access to it? Sorry for making this difficult, but since I'm located in Norway it's important for me to test this properly beforehand. Especially since FTP performance issues is the main reason why I'm concidering moving my hosting.

And: do you offer a volume discount for dedicated IP's, and/or is there a limit to the number of IP's available?

I need to know how many IPs you will need. we can give discount if the volume is more and we have sufficient IPs available in the new subnet.

Strange. On first download I got impressive < 1000 KB/s (16 MB in 4 seconds), on second try I "just" got ca. 300 KB/s. Weird..

might be your internet connection. check if your ISP is tapping your bandwidth or something else.

We can provide you with 20 IPs for Â£20 per month but you will need to communicate with the VPS Hosting support team to check if free IPs are available in subnet of your existing VPS Hosting. If you are looking to order a new VPS Hosting / Dedicated Server then there wont be any problem with the availability of IPs
