Smile Windows Reseller - HELP

Hi
I have intended to get Reseller Windows Standard package
so I have some questions,

1 . Can my customers access to their database through SQL Server Enterprise Manager
(its important to me because many of my customers needs to configure their database with Enterprise Manager)

2 . I am Reseller, so do you give me Private DNS , for example , ns1.myhosteddomain.com , and ... ?

3 . I have 5 GB Space on the disk , How much SQL Server space do I have ? can I use entire 5 GB for SQL Server also ?
Online chat support told me its unlimited, is it true ?

4 . for example some of my customers already have more than one domain , and they want to pint them to one host ,
can we make Domain Alias ?
for ex :
Hosted Domain : mydomain.com
and I want point myseconddomain.net to that domain, so make that Domain Alias

do you provide this ?

5 . what components do you support ?
I need ASPSmartUpload and ASPJpeg or do you have somthing like these ??

6 . my website hosting is online now so I have to move everything to your servers, How can I do this , I mean what is the best and fastest way I have about 150 MB files and 160 MB SQL Server database
and something else, I have to get SQL Server DB Back up to pull out database from my old server , how do you help me to restore my database file to your server and in my account ?

Thank you for your good support

I have answered all your questions as below :-

1 . Can my customers access to their database through SQL Server Enterprise Manager
(its important to me because many of my customers needs to configure their database with Enterprise Manager)
Ans :- You and your customers can use enterprise manager to connect to your MSSQL Server databases through enterprise manager.

2 . I am Reseller, so do you give me Private DNS , for example , ns1.myhosteddomain.com , and ... ?
Ans :- Yes. You get private nameservers. All you need to do is setup those from your control panel's DNS section or just open a ticket and we will do that for you. If you choose to do it yourself then make sure that you use the primary and secondary IP of the primary and secondary nameservers which we have provided.

3 . I have 5 GB Space on the disk , How much SQL Server space do I have ? can I use entire 5 GB for SQL Server also ?
Online chat support told me its unlimited, is it true ?
Ans :- You can use 5 GB space for MSSQL Server databases or you can distribute the space as per requirements of your customers. Your quota limit is the total of mssql, mysql, ms access, emails, web contents and your domain logs.

4 . for example some of my customers already have more than one domain , and they want to pint them to one host ,
can we make Domain Alias ?
for ex :
Hosted Domain : mydomain.com
and I want point myseconddomain.net to that domain, so make that Domain Alias
do you provide this ?
Ans :- Each customer of yours can manage his dns from his control panel. You can setup A reconrds, mx records, dns records, cname, as well as SOA records as per your choice.

5 . what components do you support ?
I need ASPSmartUpload and ASPJpeg or do you have somthing like these ??
Ans :- Yes. Most of the components are installed on our servers but incase you find something missing then open a ticket from our helpdesk

6 . my website hosting is online now so I have to move everything to your servers, How can I do this , I mean what is the best and fastest way I have about 150 MB files and 160 MB SQL Server database
and something else, I have to get SQL Server DB Back up to pull out database from my old server , how do you help me to restore my database file to your server and in my account ?
Ans :- You will need to restore all the data and databases from your end as the control panel with your old host and our company is different and there is no way we can make a normal package to ensure complete data transfer. Incase of linux servers we can guarantee 100% data transfer but incase of windows we cannot assure anything like that and thats the reason we dont do transfers from our end for windows packages.

Additionally, I would suggest you to opt for our web hosting controller control panel as we have tested this control panel to be best for windows servers and the features of hosting controller control panel have been discussed in our services section. You can directly take a look at features of hosting controller.

Normal files is ok I will upload those, but SQL Server DB, if I take backup how can I send those for you to restore in SQL Server ?
I can upload them on my space , do you restore them to my new database in SQL Server ?

We can do that for you. Once you upload the databases then open a ticket and one of our windows system admins will restore those.

Make sure that you mention the name of the databases in which you wish to restore the backup databases you will provide.

Sorry,
Another question :

about section 2, I checked Plesk CP demo I found that If I have access to create new name server for my clients they have also access to do this, for examle I want give them my own name server to add to their domain CP
for example this is my domain : google.com
and I will give ns1.google.com and ns2.google.com to my customers and I'll tell ask them to change their domain DNS to this one.
But I think with this configuration of Plesk they also can create NS records, isn't it ? I want do this just myself
and second question :
For accessing CP in your reseller package I have to have at least a domain to point to CP , So if I haven't created NS for my domain like ns1.mydomain.com within CP how can I change my domain DNS to my own NS records without accessing CP
Did you get me ?
Sorry my english is not well

I would like to clarify that we have discontinued Plesk for our new servers and we will be using only Hosting Controller for our new servers. Plesk has given too many problems for us and we will be using hosting controller only as thats one of the most stable control panel.

You have a option in hosting controller to configure your private nameservers and by default those would be assigned to accounts of your customers. While making your packages you can disable DNS service for packages of your customers and that will prevent them from making their private nameservers or doing any modifications in DNS.

You can access your control panel with the IP address of the server and there's no such restriction in login URL.

Oh
we got new problem
Hosting controller has Menu bug,
in IE7, it doesn't display navigation menu
and in firefox it show that like this :

and really I can't access all of the features
and in some pages it doesn't show complete page like this

, is there anyway to fix this,
and one thing more its one of the best CPs but we should accept that it doesn't have many features that we can see in PLESK or helm

Hosting Controller Developers are aware of this problem and they are working on it.

Features included in Help and Plesk can be installed on any windows server manually without any problem. Control Panel's stability is very important and one should make out that a control panel which keeps on loading for long time once you click on anything then that control panel is making problems for your server.

Hosting Controller is ahead of all other control panels if you consider the loading time.

Hosting Controller has got menu errors only in Mozilla 2.0 and IE 7. It would be rare to have people using both this browsers together.

We are expecting a quick fix shortly but it can take 2 - 3 days more for the patch to be available. As far as features, speed and functions hosting controller is best and it should not be much difficult for you to convince your customers to ignore minor browser compatiblity errors if everything else is perfect with the server and control panel.
