404 error handling

Any unfound page as a part of the error process is trying to find a 404.shtml page this page does not exist.
Should this 404.shtml exist by default?
Or is the page error handling in some way incorrect.

You will need to setup the error pages or you will need to add rules in .htaccess to redirect respective error pages.

Default one will be used from apache's configuration.
