Attention Management - Please Respond
We were notified today that our VPS has been suspended despite having paid in advance and payment not due for another week. We were informed "Currently your VPS is suspended. I am forwarding this ticket to our Management. They will get back to you as soon as possible."
But I'm still waiting for management to respond. The matter is urgent and your staff won't discuss the matter further.

I would suggest you email mark@eukhost.com or nick@eukhost.com who should be able to deal with this for you. I would have thought if you asked on livechat to speak to a senior billing admin they would be able to deal with it...

We've already done that. No-one on chat will discuss the matter with us and tech support assured us the matter had been passed to management and they would be in touch. Still nothing.

Is it still down ? They are usually pretty quick with reactivating it. Mine got cancelled ac ouple of weeks beforehand but I found it a good thing because its better then vs having the domain etc already expired ifyou havent paid.

Lets just say, come May the allegations against eUK will prove to be rubbish! And all the sources I've checked had no record of any of the things he alledged!

Hi,
It's rather drawn out and complicated. The original thread claimed we were under various investigations, they were quickly proved to be rubbish.
As for the most recent thread, they were suspended for the original thread and although he made some good arguments to put the blame elsewhere, the obvious lies in the thread (about the account owner) ultimately confirmed our decision. Upon further investigation it seems the company he signed up under doesn't exist and the phone number given goes straight to voicemail.
However, never let it be said we are unfair. We have refunded every payment the guy has ever made to us and have also unsuspended his VPS until the 13th.

Thats above and beyond what you should do IMHO. Just goes to show if the customer dosent care about eUK, eUK still wants to do what it can to make the customer happy.

Hello,
His VPS has been shut down and all payments were refunded to him. Essentially he received two months free hosting. Upon further inspection, the company he claimed to own/work for doesn't exist. The telephone number he gave goes straight to voicemail. He claimed to know our solicitor but that has also proven to be a lie. Our solicitor has never heard of Gary Feeney, Gary Hume or his "company", Scottish New Media. It might also surprise you to know that we never did receive the promised legal notice
All in all, everything he claimed has proven to be a lie.

Seems that the real fraudster has been dealt with appropriately by eUKhost. . Well done eUK for swift and just handling of the situation. In my opinion, eUKhost have been more than fair by issuing a refund and have also refunded him for services that he has used.
Hes lucky it wasn't me he was getting the hosting from otherwise I would have suspended the account, without chance of it being reinstated - even till the end of the current billing month. I would have refunded the month in advance and sent him packing.
Also technically lieing on the registration form is undoubtbly a breach of the TOS and domain registration rules so Gary, you should consider yourself very lucky to have got any sort of refund. Most hosts would not give you a penny back for such flagrant and not to mention fraudulant breaches of the TOS. This isn't even taking to account the other issues that have happened on different forums.
