They do look amazing spec servers but I'm not on one to comment on their actual use....

Had one of my website hosting moved (to get php5) onto this new server - my first comment was - wow it's a lot quicker. So I'm impressed. In fact I'm going to get all my other sites moved accross as well (just as soon as i've made them php 5 compatible

).

They're definitely faster than the old servers. I've noticed a huge performance increase now that my Linux cPanel VPS Hosting is hosted on a Q6600 server; that being said, my Windows VPS Hosting are also running alot faster now that they are on the new servers. The CPU usage is much lower, so the VPS Hosting are able to run much faster.

Well I tried to get the rest of my (reseller) accounts moved - and was told it wasn't feasable!!

Bit rich actually - as when I tried to get the original account moved I was told it wasn't possible unless I got all the accounts done, and it was only by pointing out Mark's coments on this forum (in this thread PDF Creation)
that support were able to move just the one account.

Is there any reason why the whole reseller account can't be moved?

Your main reseller account is also hosted on a Q6600 Server. Yorkshire ( 91.186.0.6 ) is a recently setup Q6600server and your old server which was in US was moved on Yorkshire.

Are you facing any problems on Yorkshire ?

Well I have had permissions problems (see ticket CIO-54688-885 for details) which has affected a couple of domains (the ones now moved to the new server). But other than that the other domains are behaving. It's just that if all are on the same server I can manage them (esp bandwidth/space allocations) better.

At the moment I can't see how I can alter bandwidth/space allocations for the two on the new server without raising a support ticket.

should i ask them to proceed with migration of your accounts from Yorkshire to Somerset ?
