Default Domain Access

I'm having trouble connecting to our reseller domain from work. If I connect though MegaProxy everything works.

Could the problem be with our broadband supplier or is the server blocking our IP address?

The best way to find if the IP address has been blocked is to e-mail the eUKhost support team with the IP address to see if it has.

Other than that, your workplace could be blocking the website hosting?

Hello Stukelly,

Let me know the domain name as well as the local network IP.
You can find local network IP with the help of whatismyip.com

Regards,

eUK_Ralf.

Hi

Sorry the problem was me entering the wrong details for cPanel access. After several failed attempts our IP address was blocked, which is a good security feature.

Thanks for your help.

Stuart

You're not the first one and won't be the last to do that. I'm lucky the fact I have a dynamic IP so I just restart my connection and can get back in again!

Or what I do at uni is to log onto the computer next to the one I'm working on as it has a different IP - if someone is trying to hack your server though, they're really not going to be bothered to have to change their IP every time they enter the password wrong 5 times.

Well, yep, which is why thank god the server security is slightly more complicated than just that on its own .
