Hi

Is there a way of sending more than the 300 emails per hour.

Thanks

Hi,

I do believe that there is a certain limit on the number of emails that can be sent in any given period of time from an eUK server to ensure the stability and security of the server itself.

I am not completely sure of the number of emails that are allowed to be sent within an hour from an eUK server, although 300 does sound a fesible number.

An eUK staff member should be along shortly to answer your question.

Hi,

The email limit on standard shared website hosting packages is 200 emails per hour to prevent any sort of spamming from eUKhost servers.

If you really need to send out 300 emails per hour, then you could consider either a VPS Hosting or a dedicated server to fulfill your needs.

I hope that helps.

We have set a limit of 200 outgoing emails per hour on shared and reseller hosting, 500 outgoing emails per hour on VPS Hosting, 1000 outgoing emails per hour on Semi Dedicated Hosting and 3600 outgoing emails per hour on Dedicated Hosting to avoid any sort of email spamming from our servers. Customers cannot send more than the specified number of emails in an hour irrespective of the size of their mailing lists.

May I know why you wish to send up to 300/Hour, that's very strange...

Hi Welsh Tom

This is what I was told 20 May 2008

colin: Hi Taylor What are the limits for email going out .

Taylor R: The maximum no. of mails send out per hour is 300

But you say 200 who is correct?

Reason is I have 4 lists of 1500/1900 which I send to once a month maximum.

Thanks

Colin

Hello,

Different servers have different limits and they all vary between 200 to 300, though the Standard is 200. The variation happens due to the packages.. Shared server have limit of 200 and Reseller's server have limit of 300.
