Default EukHost outsourcing support to india?

I know EukHost outsources some support to india, but I wasn't aware that it was ALL support - as suggested by this thread in the web designers forum.

India is home to millions of very high class technicians and we are associated with the World in many top fields. If this particular news is true, then I am very happy to say that I feel proud and honored that we are working with a great and honorable hosting company like eUKHost. I have personally seen how good eUKHost people are, and it is a real pleasure to associate with such nice people in every field, not just hosting.

India is respected by the World community for our highest standards, ethics, and skills. UK and India are very good friends and are helping each other in every field of life and business.

Thanks for letting me know

I'm not sure if they outsource ALL of their support, I know WHUK has a few support staff in the United Kingdom.

Note how it seems to be a rival saying that.

Hello,

Flesso is correct. I'm sure many of you have dealt with our UK support staff and obviously know this to be untrue.

The posters intentions are quite clear and he certainly isn't hiding them. It will be dealt with.

We offer shared hosting plans starting from £22.99 a year. Some shared hosting customers contact our support team every day and our staff members help them for a couple of hours every day to setup their forums, blogs, CMS, Mailing lists and everything else that they wish to have on their website. Tell me if you can meet expectations of all such customers with staff members who are paid £25k per year ?

eUKhost has never outsourced its support nor will we ever think of doing so. We have our owned office in India and Durham, some of our staff members are based in Leeds and some work from the Datacenter in Maidenhead.

You are our customer from the last 18 months and you would have left by now if we had deployed outsourced support to deal with your tickets or chats.

I know I have dealt with UK based staff - but of course things change, so wanted to be sure that this was indeed a false claim before I jumped to the defence of EukHost. In any event, the support I've had here has been on the whole excellent and indeed is the reason I have stayed a customer for so long.

By the way, I didn't start this thread to criticise Eukhost in any way - quite the contrary. I thought that you would find it interesting what other people were saying about your support and have the opportunity to defend these false claims on that forum. I have posted a response based on my experiences.

Hello,

Don't feel you have to take any action, as the post won't be there for too much longer.

Many people think that because it's the internet that they can say things, without consequence. Saying something which is untrue in order to gain financially is simply illegal in most countries. The UK is no exception to this rule.

Yeah I have spoken to UK staff too, complete BS on that guys behalf. I think it is a case of "jealousy rears its ugly head" tbh. I am not going to say bad things about his company because I dont want to drag eUK's good name into that sort of tit for tat, but I think most people can figure out for themselves what is going on when they know what he says is untrue.

That and eUK's support is the best support for any product I have bought, leased or rented.

From your words I take this to mean that some of your support is done in India, some Durham, some Leeds and some from Maidenhead - maybe with different departments and/or support level in different places.

That's fine with me - I've had very good support for lots of years now, and I sure I have dealt with all levels at one time or other. So keep your staff - these days it doesn't matter a jot where you are physically as long as you have an internet connection (...and manage to solve whatever problem i have ).

We've never allowed any unknown person to communicate with our customers or access our servers. All our Staff members from both countries are permanent and some of our staff members from both countries have been working with us since 2004. "Robert King" our CEO, was the only person running eUKhost till 2003 and some of his friends were helping him with support till 2003, his friends started their hosting companies and took some eUKhost customers with them.

Robert was expert in Marketing and his marketing skills helped eUKhost to survive in the year 2003. I joined eUKhost in early 2004 as a technical support person, but Robert helped me to learn Marketing and now I'm CMO of eUKhost. All our management team members are passionate customer service professionals and we never allow any of our staff members to differentiate between any of our customers.

Cool

Blame a certain company; which infact is much successful; & getting loads of hits/traffic from them to be famous.. are all old marketing strategies..

I'd suggest getting the link removed

It would make better sense having the offending post removed on that forum wouldn't it? The wedesignersforum is very popular, very UK centric and usually its moderators are careful not to allow offensive material (or so it seems to me), so I'm sure they would address this problem if approached.

Our Solicitor tried to contact them, but they don't have any contact number or Fax number on their forum nor can you see any contact information from their domain whois. I will contact one of their moderator's and see if they can get this sorted.
