Default Hosting Controller Version

Hi,

Sorry if this has already been asked, I have had a quick scout around and couldnt find the answer.

I noticed that some people have said they are on Hosting Controller V7 - The server im on is currently on 6.1. Is there a rollout plan of when 7 could be available ? I have heard there is PHPMYAdmin etc installed which will be a great help!

The IP Address of the server im on is 87.117.201.122

Thanks,

Craig

Hello Craig,

PhpMyAdmin was added to 87.117.201.122 but I am not sure about the procedure to access it. Please let me know your domain name or username as that will allow me to understand the procedure from our system admins and thhen I can explain you.

Let us know if you need your account transferred to the server having PhpMyAdmin (HC 7)

Please email the support dept regarding the same.

Hi Rock,

Other than PHPMyAdmin are there any other features that HC7 offers that are not available on HC6 ?

I have an outstanding Ref: FGK-86274-438 - Which I think I was told could be sorted out easier when HC7 is available?

Cheers,

Craig

You wont loose any data but you will need too move your web contents and databases manually from your end. Make sure that you download your emails as moving those would be difficult. There''s no automated procedure to move windows accounts so you will need to do it manually.

Simply open a ticket and ask the support team to create a new account for you on HC7. Once you move your data you can ask our team to change the DNS information of your domain name and your website hosting will start working from HC7 server.
