Default Multiple domains hosting

Hello

I've just bought a new domain and hosting here (copper package) I have another domain at 123 can I bring that over and have that hosted here under the same package or do I need to buy more space separately?

Cheers

You can host multiple domains under one hosting account so you won't need to buy more space separately. You can do so by using the 'Addon Domains' function in your control panel. Addon domains allow you to add domains with individual website hostings and parked domains allow you to point respective domains to the main website hosting which can be hosted whenever needed.

Red face

Hello
Thank you for the info.
Mmm I've had a look at add a domain and realise I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. I have to enable it? I don't know what my domain is, just the name or with the complete www.whatever.net ? Or the following: username/directory/etc, do I just make a folder called whatever?

Is there an idiot proof help folder somewhere?

Oh dear think I'm out of my depth, sorry if all this is really obvious.
Cheers

No problem,

you can refer to cPanel Tutorials on our support page http://www.eukhost.com/support/cpanel.php

Click on 'Adding extra domain' and follow the steps as shown in the flash tutorial to add an extra domain.

If you still face any problems, feel free to post here and we will assist you with the same.

You need to add the addon domain as suggested in the tutorial located at http://www.eukhost.com/support/cpanel.php and then you should refer to the thread located at transferring website from 123-reg to eUKhost to know how to change the nameservers of your domain name with 123-reg.

If you wish to transfer your domain name under our registration then you need to change the IPS tags of your domain name from your 123-reg control panel and the tags should be pointed to "ENOM" ( without quotes ). Once you change the tags then you need to inform us and we will accept the domain name under our registration.

If you find it difficult to understand anything out of the tutorials or the thread I mentioned then do let us know and we will guide you further.

I have three other domains that I'd like to host under my shared hosting package.

I can see how it works for the website hostings, but how can I get the email working for those domain names? Ideally I'd like to host the pop3 accounts on my shared hosting package.

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon,

You can host the POP3 accounts on your single shared hosting package and get the email accounts working for your addon domains as well. When you create an email account, all you have to do is choose the domain you want the email account to be created on in the drop-down menu.

Hello
Many thanks for your help, I've managed to incorporate my other website hosting ( whoopee ) but i'm goiung to leave the hosting part until a little later when it comes up for renewal this summer- I'm a bit precoocupied with trying to sort out the shopping cart at the moment (groan)!
Really nice to know you get fast answers to questions, many thanks.
