scripts failing with no error messages

I was moved recently from one server (firefly) to another (islander) because i couldn't get ssh access on the first one but can now on the second.

But my website hostings have started acting strangely. Sometimes when a php script is being executed it just crashes out and goes to the root page of the website hosting. No error appears in the error log, i'm baffled as to what the problem is, any suggestions?

Hello Mike,

You get such strange redirects only when your script is not allowed to execute due to mod_security rules. You can either disable mod_security from your .htaccess or you can ask our support team to provide you with details to figure out what is wrong with your script. There is something insecure in your scripts so you should ask for logs and see if you can fix those vulnerabilities.

OK thanks for that, yes disabling mod_security seems to have done the trick.

But there is something in my scripts that is a bit dodgy.... I'll do as you suggest and email the support team to find out what this is.
