SQL Server Database
Hello Again,
My code uses smtp & a SQL Server database.
The package I registered for says I can use both, can you advise the smtp server and how I access the SQL Server, I have the SQL Server tools to access.
Sorry to be a pain,
William Brown.

You need to login in your control panel and then click on Tools. Over there you will see an option to add new email accounts as well as databases. When you click on email section then you need to choose the option "mailboxes". You can add new mailboxes from there and you can access those email accounts through webmail interface from there itself or you can configure the mailboxes in you outlook.
If you configure your mailbox in outlook then use mail.yourdomain.com in SMTP and pop3 field. Make sure that you click on "My Server requires authentication" while configuring outlook.
When you add a new database from "Tools" you need to upload the database from your local machine using the restore option. Once you upload your ms SQL Server database then you can connect to the database using your enterprise manager on your local machine.
Let me know if you face any problem while configuring this things from your control panel. You will feel lil uneasy in the beginning but when you understand the control panel and all functions included in the control panel then you will feel very comfortable with all the options available.

Last Question I Hope
Thanks for the info but how do I access the control panel?
Also do I need to enable asp.net 2.0 as I have uploaded all the files as I did with my last host and I get an error when trying to access the website hosting.
Maybe I'm being thick if so I appologise.
Thanks in advance.
William Brown.

To access your control panel, go to: yourdomain.com/admin and use the username/password you got in your welcome email.

It is simple and all that you need to do is convince yourself to learn new technology.

Your website hosting seems to be working fine now. Please verify from your end and let me know if you have any other problems.
