SSH Hosting

can i ask what is SSH/shell? How do i use it and are there any good guides of its worth my time looking?

I believe they used to offer this service, providing you had a valid reason - however I think their new guidlines are that you cannot, as you have access to CRON using CPANEL.... a quick PHP script soon bypasses that though

Level of crime has increased in Online industry and we can no more trust any shared accounts on a server to allow SSH access.

If you need SSH badly then you can consider dedicated server or VPS Hosting plans or we can move your account on another shared server where SSH access would be offered for no additional price.

We have started VPS Hosting plans which include full root access to your virtual private server. Those who dont need huge harddrive can choose our VPS Hosting plans as dedicated servers may not be affordable for all.

We also offer SSH access on one of our server for shared and reseller hosting customers. There's no additional price for ssh service but your account would be moved to this server which is reserved for SSH access. You get jailed shell access on this server for basic features would work for you.

I dont see any reason to have SSH access on hosting space. Everyone would love to have SSH access but you never know who may misuse SSH access to create problems for all other users on that particular server.
