Are the Threads Evaluated??

Hello,,
I noticed on the forum that as soon as a new thread is been submitted, it is shown instantly,,so the question is that wheather the thread is evaluated by any moderator before it is shown here or is it checked later???

Well, the new threads when posted by the members aren't held up in moderation in our forum or for that matter in other forums. They are displayed instantly when posted but are reviewed by the moderators on a regular basis and if a particluar thread is found to be spam or offensive then it is deleted by our moderators immediately.

thats probably the case for many forums. its especially esential for a webhost's business in case it takes too long for a moderator to evaluate a thread

We get new thread notifications on our helpdesk so we have staff members to delete spam posts.

Support people are not quite active on the forum as they need to answer tickets, chats and calls but Sales department takes care of threads that need reply from our side.

In my opinion the moderation used here is fair compared to other webhosts.

My former webhost had a habbit of being happy with the lock and delete buttons whenever they saw something which seemed negative. Another host I use a work insists of putting every post via a mod queue, which means waiting hours for posts to appear, or not at all.
