Lightbulb Fantastico Software

Fantastico De Luxe is a nice feature, but why does all the software available seem to be numerous versions behind the latest versions available.

I would of thought that at least the latest stable versions would be available. And surely such a task as ensuring the latest stable version was available would not be too time consuming to be implemented.?

Updates to Fantastico are done automatically by the company that makes the program. Unfortunately there's isn't anything eUK can do to hurry the process up. If you want an up to date version of the program you'll need to install it manually.

That's the only answer I needed. I was just enquiring as to why some of the software was so old. I assumed the software would have some form of auto-updating built into it, perhaps it has and the Fantastico guys just aren't in any hurry.

No kidding, i'd never have come to that conclusion all on my own.

Well you never know! Some people would think you just couldn't have an up to date version. Lol.

I think the Fantastico people wait for everything to become completely stable otherwise they'd be updating everything left right and centre all the time.

The company that run Fantastico would check to make sure its scripts are fully stable.

Also upgrades can be done direct through Fantastico as well when available.
