live chat
A trivial suggestion, but it's a slight annoyance... Could the time on the live chat system be changed to BST rather than EST, as the times come through all wrong on the transcripts..?
Also, I've noticed that I always seem to get two copies of the transcripts after i've done a live chat...
Thanks

Hi,
We use Liveperson which is a US based company. They use American time zone which cannot be changed from the admin section of our account.
I'll try to find out why you get 2 copies of chat transcripts.

Hmmm strange. I only get one copy of the transcript if I request it to be sent, always have done up to present.
And I can't say I've ever noticed the times.... .

I have noticed the times but guessed it was to do with it being based on a US system. You would have thought though that they would configure it so it has different timezone settings.... The net is pretty global now!

But even then, they have 4 times zones so it would make sense for them just to expand it to all timezones...

Yer, they probably just use PST online just like every US web site hosting and software seems to default to - even Windows sourced from the US defaults to PST.
