Server on which your website is hosted has got very good uptime. I just figured out that there was minor porblem with your DNS zone which has been rectified now. You should not see any more problem with your website and the uptime should show close to 100% at the end of next month.

Your server has given more than 99.9% uptime for this month and the downtime that we had was due to failure of power switch on the rack which we could make out only after the server failed to reboot. This was rectified in less than 1 hour and we had no prior notification of this problem.
We will put a post in this forum incase of any scheduled maintenance or complicated problem. Please have a look at network status section of this forum from next time.
Regards,
Mark.

I concur, I've had great customer service over the last 2+ years or whenever it was I switched to eukhost. I've also told a few friends who are now using eukhost too

its the online 24hr support that does it for me, ive had to use ut about 6 times in the last month or so, (all within a short period), but sometimes at 3, or 4 oclock in the morning, and have got a response immediately, heh heh even though they said `we are experiencing a high volume of calls or whatever and their may be a delay` etc etc, you little liars lol

haha. I can't say I've had to use it a 3-4am before but I'll bear that in mind for future reference... most likely filed under midnight madness or something.

ah yes... I guess kids can do that. My problem isn't kids, more university! Ridiculous amounts of work at present so my only time is when I'm working late but then by 2am my code ends up a bit too gibberishy!

the last thing youd think is to get a response from them at that ungodly hour, but they do, instant.
same with linksys technical support, on the ball 24 / 7, everytime ive had to use them

linksys = cisco though so I'd expect good support from them. I suppose you expect good support from your hosts too, but most don't give it (bonus for us)

a lot of hosts give support, just not as immediate and responsive as eukhost's support, which is another vital feature for a webhost.

Work? What work? Where?
My sleeping patterns have just lapsed somewhere into far eastern europe. I rarely have to get up to do anything before midday so my body has adjusted its operating times accordingly

Service problems
I must admit that services aren't what they were.
Notification would be good, but then your servers might be down as well, and so would my email address.
Oh wait you guys made me change my email address on your records as I wasn't getting the emails from you to the email box on your servers.
Mmmmph.

We had no planned maintenance for our servers in last couple of months. All that we do on the servers is done without taking the servers down.
Incase of downtime our support team gets busy with solving the problem so we prefer to put a single post in the forum listing the email addresses of respective customers from billing system and then sending then running the batch is tedious job. Its better to bring the service up in that time as uptime is more important than the description of downtime.
anyways we dont have downtime issues everyday so you can forgive us couple of times in a year
Regards,
Mark.
