I bought ClaytonGunShow.com which I want to load claytonnewmexico.net/gunshow

New Domain: claytongunshow.com
username/directory: gunshow (It already exists, I read somewhere I cant use a username/directory that already exists, is this true? If so do I deltete the current folder and set it up then just reupload the web site hosting ?
Password: Do I need one ? Is it for FTP only ? Surely I can just uload via /www no ?

Do I need to give my domain the ns4.eukdns.com and ns3.eukdns.com , the same claytonnewmexico.net has ?

Hello Brian,

Nameservers should be ns11.eukdns.com and ns12.eukdns.com for both ClaytonGunShow.com & claytonnewmexico.net. You can change nameservers of claytonnewmexico.net as it is using wrong nameservers right now. There wont be any downtime once you change its nameservers.

You can simply delete gunshow directory and reupload it once the addon domain is added from cpanel. password needs to be specified as cpanel will add a separate FTP account with username gunshow when you add the addon domain.

I set up www.claytongunshow.com can you let me know if it works for you ?

It dosent for me, from any PC in town that I have checked. I wonder if I will have to call my ISP to reboot DNS server.

Yeah, last time I changed DNS on a domain I had to call my ISP to reboot their DNS for it to show up in town :S

lol. so if you make 10 website hostings daily then you may need to request remote reboot switch from them

lol thats probably true hehe.

I called em and they rebooted it. I have their Network Engineer's cell number and he did it for me. Last time it took a week for the 1st level tech support to even believe me that such a thing can happen!
