As an alternative you can also install a guestbook through Fantastico if you are on a Linux based server.

Viper guestbook and Advanced Guestbook is what i use. Both are in the CPanel. looking for my tutorial on Spamless Guestbook before you install one. Good luck.

You can get the Advanced Guestbook in the CGI Scripts

Sourceforge.org and HotScripts.com are the best places to find free guestbook scripts. I'd recommend a guestbook that uses frames which prevent automated spammers, etc.
